2 Is the background remover really free?

3 What image formats are supported?
You can upload JPG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF images up to 10MB each. The result downloads as PNG or JPG.
4 Can I get a transparent background (transparent PNG)?
Not as a cut-out file. The AI edit removes or replaces the background inside a newly rendered image, so the PNG or JPG you download is opaque and has no alpha channel to composite elsewhere. A PNG still avoids the extra compression that JPG applies. If you need a true transparent PNG of a scanned handwritten signature, the signature background remover on this site cuts it out in your browser.
5 How accurate is the background removal?
