What Is EzCreate? A Plain Guide to the EzCreate AI Photo Editor
EzCreate is a browser AI photo editor: remove or swap backgrounds, upscale and restyle images. How the no-sign-up guest trial, credits and downloads work.
Published
Short answer: EzCreate (ezcreate.org) is an AI photo editor that runs in your browser. You upload a photo, describe the change in plain words, and an image model returns the edited picture: a removed or replaced background, a cleaner and sharper version, an upscaled copy, or a restyled image. You can also create a picture from a text prompt. A first guest preview works without an account; signing in is what unlocks downloads, 2K and 4K output and saved history. The same editor is embedded at the bottom of this article, so you can try it while you read.
We wrote this page because people keep searching for us by name and finding little to read. In our Google Search Console data for the last 28 days, the searches that reach this site include "ai photo editor ezcreate", "ezcreate ai editor", "ez create ai" and the misspelling "ezecreate". Most of those visitors want three answers: what EzCreate actually does, whether it is free, and what happens to their photos. This guide answers all three with the numbers the product uses today.
What EzCreate is, in one paragraph
EzCreate is a hosted image workspace. It does not install anything on your computer and it is not a Photoshop plug-in. The editor lives at /ai-image-generator and has two modes. Image to image takes a photo you upload and changes it according to your instruction. Text to image creates a new picture from a written prompt. Behind both modes sit several third-party image models, and EzCreate gives you one place to use them, one balance of credits to pay for them and one history of your results. EzCreate is an independent product: it is not the official site of any of the model vendors it connects to.
What you can do with it
The most common jobs each have their own short guide page, and all of them open the same editor:
- Remove a background. Upload a product shot or portrait and ask for a transparent or plain background. See the background remover guide.
- Swap a background. Describe the new scene, for example "place the bag on a marble counter with soft window light".
- Enhance a photo. Reduce noise, sharpen detail and fix flat lighting. See the image enhancer guide.
- Upscale an image. Results start at 1K. Signed-in accounts can render at 2K or 4K. See the image upscaler guide.
- Change the format. The editor writes JPG or PNG output. See the image converter guide.
- Restyle or remove distractions. Ask for a different look, a cleaner frame or an object removed.
- Create from text. Switch to text to image and describe the picture you want.
The free online image editor page collects these jobs in one place if you are not sure where to start.
How to edit a photo with EzCreate, step by step
- Open the editor. Use the tool below this article, which opens in image to image mode, or go to /ai-image-generator.
- Upload one photo. PNG, JPG and WEBP all work. Each file can be up to 10 MB. A sharp, well-lit source gives the model more to work with.
- Describe the edit. Write one clear instruction, such as "remove the background and keep the shadow under the shoe". Short, concrete instructions work better than long lists.
- Pick the shape and format. Choose an aspect ratio (square, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16 and several others) and JPG or PNG output.
- Check the cost and generate. The credit cost of the task is shown before you press generate. It depends on the model and, for some models, on the resolution.
- Review and refine. If the first result is close but not right, adjust the instruction and run it again rather than starting over with a new photo.
- Download. Downloads need a signed-in account. Your result is then saved to your account history.
Is EzCreate free? How the guest trial works
You can try EzCreate without creating an account. Each new browser gets a one-time guest allowance of 5 free credits. The guest default model costs 4 credits for a 1K image, so the allowance covers one guest preview. The guest preview has deliberate limits:
- one source image per task;
- 1K resolution only;
- the result stays in that browser and cannot be downloaded until you sign in;
- clearing browser data or switching devices can remove guest results, and they do not move into an account after sign-in.
That design lets you judge the quality of an edit on your own photo before you hand over an email address. When you want to keep the file, sign in. A free account can download results and render at 2K or 4K, and it keeps your history in one place.
When you need more than a few edits, credits are sold in packs and plans on the pricing page. The smallest one-time pack is the $4.90 Starter pack with 140 credits, valid for 30 days. That is about 35 images on the default 1K model. The $9.99 Try pack gives 300 credits for the same 30 days, and subscriptions exist for heavier use. Different models cost different amounts: at 1K, for example, the default Seedream 5 model costs 4 credits, Nano Banana costs 5 and GPT Image 2 costs 8. Higher resolutions cost more on models that support them. Optional helpers are charged separately: translating a prompt to English costs 1 credit and auto-optimizing a prompt costs 2, and neither is charged when no usable result comes back.
Which models EzCreate uses
The editor lets you choose among several hosted image models. The list today includes Seedream 4, 4.5 and 5, Nano Banana, Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image 2, Flux 2 Pro and Flux 2 Flex, Grok Imagine, Ideogram V3 and Ideogram Character, Qwen Image and Z-Image. Some models are only offered to signed-in or paid accounts. You do not need to know them to get started: the default model is chosen for a good balance of quality and cost, and you can switch when a specific job needs a different strength, such as text rendering or a consistent character.
Your photos and privacy
EzCreate needs your photo to run the edit, so the file is uploaded to the service and passed to the image model you selected. Guest results stay in the browser that made them. Signed-in results are stored in your account so you can download them again later. The full details, including retention and how to contact us, are in the privacy policy. As with any online AI tool, avoid uploading documents or images you are not allowed to share.
EzCreate compared with a desktop editor
A desktop editor such as Photoshop gives you layer-by-layer control and works offline, but it takes time to learn and every change is manual. EzCreate trades that fine control for speed: you describe the result and the model does the work in seconds. For a product photo that needs a clean background, a portrait that needs a sharper look, or a social image in a new aspect ratio, the AI route is usually faster. For pixel-exact retouching, print layouts or work that must stay on your own machine, a desktop editor remains the better tool. Many people use both: EzCreate for the first pass and a desktop editor for final touches.
Frequently asked questions
Is EzCreate the same as "Ez Create AI" or "EzeCreate"?
Yes. People type the name in several ways, including "ez create ai", "ezcreate ai editor" and "ezecreate". They all refer to the same product at ezcreate.org. The repository name ezcreate.org is only our deployment name, not a separate brand.
Do I need to sign up to use EzCreate?
No, not for a first try. A new browser gets 5 free guest credits, enough for one 1K guest preview. You need to sign in to download results, to use 2K or 4K, or to combine several source images.
Does EzCreate add a watermark?
EzCreate does not add its own watermark to results. You do need a signed-in account to download them.
Can I use EzCreate on my phone?
Yes. The editor runs in mobile browsers as well as on desktop, so you can upload a photo straight from your camera roll.
What happens if a generation fails?
If a paid task fails and the credits are restored, they keep the validity they had when you spent them. Prompt helpers are not charged when they return no usable result.
