The closest live tool is the AI background remover. It splits one photo into two parts you can stack in any editor: the subject on a transparent PNG and the original as the background. You can try one image free in the browser without an account.
What a real layer split needs
A useful JPG to PSD conversion separates text, objects, shadows and background into editable layers. That needs a dedicated decomposition model. We will only open this tool when results are reliable enough to charge for, and the price will use the existing EzCreate credits.
Build a two-layer file by hand
Download the transparent subject, open the original photo in Photoshop, Photopea or GIMP, then place the cut-out on a new layer above it. Save as PSD. This gives you a movable subject layer in a few minutes.
Frequently asked questions
- Can EzCreate export a PSD file?
- Not yet. No PSD is generated and no credits are charged for it. The background remover gives a transparent PNG you can place as a layer.
- Will layer splitting cost extra?
- When it launches it will use the same credit packs as every other EzCreate tool. Current prices will not change for it.
